3D-radiography (Cone Beam x-ray system)

Since december 2007 we dispose of a KaVo 3D eXam Cone Beam x-ray system, which generates high-resolution, three-dimensional x-rays at only 10-20 % of exposure of traditional computed tomography. The volumetric diagnostic imaging system of the KaVo 3D eXam offers dentists and specialists a complete picture of all oral and maxillofacial structures and hence a thorough set of diagnostic data for a large number of treatments. The results: greater precision when planning treatment and more predictable results. This technology allows the most precise treatment planning available in the fields of implantology, surgery, orthodontics and preservative dentistry. All depending on the needs of the dentist and patient.
